Modern Organic | Coburg

This newly built Coburg townhouse was home to a young professional couple who wanted their interiors to feel calm, warm and considered with a modern organic aesthetic that still felt comfortable and easy to live in.

Starting with a beautiful neutral architectural base, the focus was on introducing warmth, softness and texture through the furniture, finishes and styling.

​

A palette of creamy neutrals, warm oak timbers and natural stone created the foundation, while curved and sculptural furniture helped soften the clean lines of the new build. An oversized modular sofa and plush tonal rug anchor the living room, complemented by a statement stone coffee table and layers of tactile cushions and accessories.

​

In the adjoining dining area, the warm timber table and softly upholstered chairs continue the same palette, allowing the two spaces to feel connected without becoming overly matched.

​

Subtle accents of black, amber glass and warm metallic tones add contrast and depth, while sheer curtains filter the natural light and give the entire home a soft, serene quality.

​

The finished result is a home that feels warm, relaxed and quietly sophisticated, modern organic with just the right amount of luxury.
